Acupuncture readdresses energy weakness, fullness or blockages to ensure a smooth running of bodily functions, thoughts and emotions. Channels of energy (Meridians) run through the body and their associated organ, providing a network of points that can influence the body when stimulated. The principle aim of acupuncture is to treat the whole person and recover the balance of the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the individual.
