The Process
How does it feel?

When inserting a needle I use a guide tube to disguise the sensation entering the skin. Patients normal response to the first needle is 'Oh is that all' and this includes people with a needle phobia.
The needles are very thin ranging from 0.16mm – 0.35mm. It is important that you feel something, when the needle is in, like a dull ache or pulling sensation to show that the needle is working.
How long will the treatment be?

This depends on the condition and best to talk directly to me to discuss specific conditions. How ever there should be a recognizable change to the condition within 3 treatments and usually after each session.
If you would like to discuss how acupuncture can help you, please leave your number with one of the clinics and I will return your call.

Is it safe?

Acupuncture is one of the safest treatments available today including both western and alternative medicine.
